Introduction
Day 2: Monday 20 October 2025 - Queenstown
Bon Voyage Cruises & Travel is delighted to present
our in-depth Deep South Exploration. We’ll show
you some of Central Otago you probably haven’t
seen and included unique adventures and tasting
experiences not available included on other tours!
This morning we head to Arrowtown where we join a historic
walking tour, with time to wander the shops, before visiting
Gibbston Valley Winery for a Cave & Winery tour, We then
move a few kms down the highway to Kinross where five
wineries come together to share a magnificent cellar door
complex. Here we learn stories about the Central Otago wine
history and the personalities involved making these fine
wines, not seen in our North Island wineshops. Kinross then
put on a beautiful platter lunch before we head back into
Queenstown, via AJ Hacket Bungy – any volunteers?
We sail with Heritage Expeditions, on the
beautiful 18 passenger Heritage Explorer. You’ll
see the Stewart Island not accessible by land, have
the opportunity to hike, swim and kayak with
expert guides, always with the luxury of returning
to the welcome of fine food and beverages onboard!

Day 3: Tuesday 21 October 2025 - Queenstown
After breakfast we’ll be picked up by Central Cycle Trail
Co and driven to Cromwell. At Cromwell we hop on our EBikes and hit the trail through the old Cromwell town and
along the shoreline crossing the Kawarau River to
Bannockburn and a coffee or wine break at Carrick
Winery. We hit the trail proper by hanging a right at
Cornish Point, and follow Lake Dunstan on this
magnificent trail, which in itself is a feat of engineering all
the way to the Clyde Dam, to which Lake Dunstan owes its
very existence.
We conclude our ride on the main street of Clyde and
lunch at the famous Olivers bistro. After lunch we had
back to the lake for a spectacular jetboat ride all the way
back to Cromwell, A transfer back to Queenstown will
have us back at the hotel late afternoon.
Itinerary
Day 1: Sunday 19 October 2025 – to Queenstown
Late morning flight with Air New Zealand Auckland to
Queens- town. On arrival early afternoon we are met by
Limousine Services Queenstown for our transfer to the
hotel. This afternoon is free before Welcome drinks at
the hotel this evening.
This evening we host you at our special Bon Voyage
Dinner degustation dinner, with wine pairing.
